Scraping (Gua Sha)

Literally means “to scrape away fever” in Chinese. Gua Sha involves repeated pressured strokes over lubricated skin with a smooth edge, usually with a buffalo horn. The Gua Sha technique is commonly used to treat a number of ailments including:

– Muscle and tendon injuries

– Treat stiffness, pain, immobility

– Sluggish circulation
